Refining Process

The composition is done through the NPC Alchemiy Odin, who is located in the Unknown Continent (City of Kefra).

Required Items for Composition

To refine an item from +11 or higher, you will need the following materials:

  • 1 Item +11 or higher (Ancient in the case of weapons)
  • 4 random Secret Stones or 4 Bless Refining
  • 2 Lac Pacs with 10 units or 2 Protection Emblems

Important Notes:

  1. Using Lac Pacs: If the composition is done with Lac Pacs, there is a small chance of the item being destroyed if the refinement fails. In this case, the player will lose the item completely.
  2. Using Protection Emblems: If 2 Protection Emblems are used, and the refinement fails, the additional option of the item becomes an extraction crystal. This allows you to save the additional options of any item, whether it is a weapon or a defense item.

Success and Failure Outcomes

  • If successful, all items used in the composition will be destroyed, and only the refined item (+12 or higher) will remain.
  • If failed, all items will be destroyed, and the main item will have its refining level reduced by 1 according to the following rates:
    • +11 → 0% chance to drop
    • +12 → 1% chance to drop
    • +13 → 2% chance to drop
    • +14 → 3% chance to drop

Destroy Rate

  • If the total success rate is under 5%, the item has a 20% chance to be destroyed upon failure.

Success Rates

Each refinement stage has a fixed success rate:

  • +12 → 4%
  • +13 → 3%
  • +14 → 2%
  • +15 → 1%

Additional Success Bonuses

Each Secret Stone, Bless Refining, or Essence of the Gods will increase the success rate:

Secret Stones Success Rate

  • Water Secret Stone → 1% per unit
  • Land Secret Stone → 1% per unit
  • Sun Secret Stone → 1% per unit
  • Wind Secret Stone → 1% per unit

Example: Refining an item from +11 to +12 with 4 Secret Stones:

  • Base success rate: 4%
  • Bonus from Secret Stones: 4% (1% per unit)
  • Total success rate: 8%

Bless Refining Success Rate per Unit

  • +0 → 1%
  • +1 → 1%
  • +2 → 2%
  • +3 → 3%
  • +4 → 4%
  • +5 → 5%
  • +6 → 6%
  • +7 → 7%
  • +8 → 8%
  • +9 → 10%

Example: Refining an item from +11 to +12 with 4 Bless Refining +9:

  • Base success rate: 4%
  • Bonus from Bless Refining: 40% (10% per unit x 4)
  • Total success rate: 44%

Celestial/God2 Upgrade Success Rate

Celestial items can be upgraded using the item Essence of the Gods. Each Essence of the Gods provides a success rate based on its level:

  • +0 → 1%
  • +1 → 1%
  • +2 → 2%
  • +3 → 3%
  • +4 → 4%
  • +5 → 5%
  • +6 → 6%
  • +7 → 7%
  • +8 → 8%
  • +9 → 10%

Example: Upgrading a Celestial item using 4x Essence of the Gods +9:

  • Base success rate: 4%
  • Bonus from Essence of the Gods: 40% (10% per unit x 4)
  • Total success rate: 44%

Protection Emblem Bonus

  • Each Protection Emblem used grants an additional 10% success rate.

Additional Protection with Bless Refining +1

  • When using at least one Bless Refining +1, the item will not turn into an extraction crystal if the refinement fails.
  • Each Protection Emblem used in this composition grants an additional 10% success rate.
